Validation of a heat, moisture and gas concentration transfer model for soybean (Glycine max) grains stored in plastic bags (silo bags)
Publicado 2018“…Though CO2 relative differences were high, the general trends of measured gas evolution were compatible with the simulated ones, indicating that the changes in CO2 and O2 concentrations during storage were satisfactorily predicted by use of the proposed correlations.…”

Spatiotemporal heterogeneity of Rhipicephalus microplus resistance to chemical acaricides at intra-farm level: A case study using ivermectin
Publicado 2025“…In a second case study, the evolution of resistance in R. microplus subpopulations subjected to strategic and threshold control methods based on the application of three annual treatments with alternation of chemical groups was compared. No changes in resistance/susceptibility status were observed in both tick subpopulations. …”

Virulence characterization of Puccinia graminis f. sp. avenae in Argentina
Publicado 2025“…We reported that current populations are more virulent and complex, and the predominant “race 11” demonstrated virulence against all 11 differential oat lines used in this study, emphasizing its potential threat to oat cultivation in Argentina. The change in population dynamics detected here suggests that the use of a few genes as a basis for resistance to stem rust in the Argentinian germplasm has resulted in the continuous selection of Pga phenotypes with virulence to these resistance genes. …”

Deciphering the link between SIF, ANPP and RUE dynamics in perennial forage crop mixtures
Publicado 2025“…The Monteith model serves as the main conceptual frameworkin pastures.Sun-induced fluorescence (SIF), closely linked to photosynthesis, is a promising candidate for ANPP estimations when radiation use efficiency (RUE) undergoes physiological changes. Our aim was to analyze SIF´s ability to estimate ANPP and RUE in forage covers with different structural and physiological characteristics. …”

Astaxanthin obtained from freshwater crustaceans mitigates visceral adiposity by modulating adipose tissue lipogenesis and ameliorates dyslipidemia in high-sucrose diet fed rats
Publicado 2025“…Besides, fatty acid synthase, malic enzyme and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase activities in epididymal adipose tissue were 43%, 28% and 38% lower respectively. These changes were accompanied by lower TG (25%) and cholesterol (27%) serum levels, atherogenic index (31%) and reduced Systolic (12%) and Diastolic (15%) blood pressure. …”

A new sunflower high oleic mutation confers stable oil grain fatty acid composition across environments
Publicado 2018“…A newhigh oleic mutation has been obtained to attain oils with ultra-high oleic levels (>90%oleic acid content). This new structural mutation would be able to reduce the variation in oleic acid percentage to changes inthe minimum night temperature (MNT). The aim of this work was to assess the response of oil fatty acidcomposition of the new high oleic mutation to MNT compared to traditional and Pervenets genotypes.Field experiments in different sowing dates and locations and one growth chambers experiment wereperformed to explore a wide range of temperatures (11.8–23.2◦C) during grain filling. …”
