Atrazine uptake, translocation, bioaccumulation and biodegradation in cattail (Typha latifolia) as a function of exposure time
Publicado 2021“…Thus, in this study, we aimed to analyze morphological changes, uptake, translocation and bioaccumulation patterns in tissues of the aquatic macrophyte Typha latifolia (cattail) after long-term atrazine exposure and to determine the presence of atrazine biodegradation metabolites, desethylatrazine (DEA) and desisopropylatrazine (DIA), in tissues. …”

Ruminal effects of excessive dietary sulphur in feedlot cattle
Publicado 2021“…The ruminal adaptation that maximizes H2S production in FC consuming S excess does not seem to be associated with biological or biochemical alterations, nor DSRB concentration changes. The microbial diversity and ruminal environment were resilient to the S excess evaluated, suggesting that 0.39% of dietary S achieved by 0.86% sodium sulfate addition, could be used without disturbances on digestion nor health of FC.…”

Phosphorus and nitrogen fractions during base flow conditions of a Pampean stream and their relationship with land use
Publicado 2021“…However, few studies evaluated the influence of these changes on water quality. The objectives of this study were to determine nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) fractions, trophic status and nutrient limitation of a typical Pampean stream, and to compare nutrient contents and speciation with different land uses (urban/industrial versus agricultural). …”

Water consumption and preliminary crop coefficients of two Populus ×canadensis clones (‘I-214’ and ‘I-488’) grown at low planting density
Publicado 2022“…Aim of study: The productivity of poplar plantations in Mediterranean climates might be reduced due to lower precipitations in a climate change scenario. Therefore, understanding the water consumption in these plantations is essential for their management. …”

Unveiling the increasingly altered patterns of wetland ecosystem functional diversity in the lower Delta of the Paraná River
Publicado 2022“…Since climate, environmental and anthropic controls affect ecosystem functioning simul taneously, wetlands are permanently changing at different spatio–temporal scales. Thus, regionalizations based not only on structural, but also on functional features of ecosys tems constitute a much-needed baseline towards proper decision-making and environ mental management in the context of land degradation and water management infrastructure. …”

Pesticide dynamics in agroecosystems: Assessing climatic and hydro-physical effects in a soybean cycle under no-tillage
Publicado 2022“…Thus, the selection of appropriate agricultural management is a key factor to modify hydro-physical top soil dynamics to change hydrological partition from horizontal to vertical fluxes, in particular in soils with poor structural condition.…”

Associative learning of visual cues in the fruit fly parasitoid Diachasmimorpha longicaudata : temporal dynamics and potential consequences on females' fitness
Publicado 2024“…Such colour would allow females to find their host more efficiently, by associating cues that lead to host finding but also modifying their response when the cues are no longer associated with a reward, which seems a reasonable strategy for parasitoids of polyphagous hosts infesting ephemeral and changing habitats, such as fruit of different species.…”

Assessing small RNA profles in potato diploid hybrid and its resynthesized allopolyploid reveals conserved abundance with distinct genomic distribution
Publicado 2024“…Whole-genome duplication represents a genomic “shock” that can trigger genetic and epigenetic changes that yield novel expression patterns. In this work, we investigate the polyploidization effect on a diploid interspecific hybrid obtained through the cross between the cultivated potato Solanum tuberosum and the wild potato Solanum kurtzianum, by assessing the small RNAs (sRNAs) profile of the parental diploid hybrid and its derived allopolyploid. …”
