  1. Knockdown of glycine decarboxylase complex alters photorespiratory carbon isotope fractionation in Oryza sativa leaves por Giuliani, Rita, Karki, Shanta, Covshoff, Sarah, Lin, Hsiang-Chun, Coe, Robert A., Koteyeva, Nuria K., Quick, W. Paul, von Caemmerer, Susanne, Furbank, Robert T., Hibberd, Julian M., Edwards, Gerald E., Cousins, Asaph B.

    Publicado 2019
“…Leaf measurements on transgenic gdch knockdown and wild-type plants were carried out in the light under photorespiratory and low photorespiratory conditions (i.e. 18.4 kPa and 1.84 kPa atmospheric O-2 partial pressure, respectively), and in the dark. Under approximately current ambient O-2 partial pressure (18.4 kPa pO(2)), the gdch knockdown plants showed an expected photorespiratory-deficient phenotype, with lower leaf net CO2 assimilation rates (A) than the wild-type. …”

  2. Temperature and host plant species affect the performance and immunocompetence of an outbreak defoliator in northwestern Patagonia por Serra, Maria Noel, Quintero, Carolina, Rodriguez Cabal, Mariano Alberto, Martinez Von Ellrich, Andres Santiago, Paritsis, Juan

    Publicado 2022
“…Larvae of O. amphimone were reared under two temperature conditions (ambient 18:6 C and warmed, 21:6 C; light: dark, 14:10 h) and on leaves of two of their preferred Nothofagus host plants, which vary in quality (lower N. antarctica–higher N. pumilio). …”

  3. Induction of sprouting in dormant yam (Dioscorea spp.) tubers with inhibitors of gibberellins por Shiwachi, H., Ayankanmi, T.G., Asiedu, Robert, Onjo, M.

    Publicado 2003
“…The varietal responses were also influenced by whether the tubers were treated at harvest (before shoot senescence) or four weeks after harvest by which time shoots had senesced fully. Tubers stored in darkness at a constant temperature of 30 °C sprouted earlier but lost weight faster than did those stored under natural daylight and ambient temperature. …”
