Antonio Villaraigosa

Antonio Ramón Villaraigosa (; né Villar Jr. (born January 23, 1953) is an American politician who served as the 41st Mayor of Los Angeles from 2005 to 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as the Majority Leader from 1996 to 1998 and Speaker of the California State Assembly from 1998 to 2000.

Villaraigosa is a graduate of University of California, Los Angeles and the unaccredited People's College of Law.
