Sumario:The seasonal variation of N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Na, Cu, Mn, Fe y Zn was studied in a 6 years old stand of Pinus radiata D Don. According to the variability of the elements the sampling period was important for K, Ca, Zn, Fe and Mn and less important for N, P, Mg and Na. On the other hand, the sampling period seems to have any influence on Cu The stability period occurs at different times for each nutrient However there were two typical stages recommended as tentative sampling periods 1) 15 to 42 days after pollination (since August 20 to September 20) the macronutrients, Cu and Na remain stable, and 2) 70 to 112 days after pollination (since October 15 to November 30) when no change has been observed for the micronutrients as well as Ca and K.
