Sumario:Methods and procedures are described for the estimation-simulation of rain water harvest areas in situ (rain harvest-runt on lands) to maximize yield considering climates variability. Emphasis is given to the introduction of estocastic components into the model considering univariate an multivariate probabilities. The simulation is made for two tropical sites: Tizayuca in Mexico and Pedregal in Venezuela. To determine optimum rain harvest lands a compound system of models which includes distribution functions for rainfall, evaporation, plant density, probability integration, rain harvest-lands — calculations, etc., is used.
